A very quick round up of our week: In English this week the children designed their own traps and wrote up descriptions. In maths we did lots of revision ready for our end of term assessments. They all did very well. Thank you for your all your hard work this term. In Science this week looked back at all we have done this term. Topic - We took a look back at our topic this term and recalled facts we had learnt. In Art this week we finished off our African Masks.
There is no Abacus homework for half term but you can always revisit the games you have played previously. Why not try Hit the Button too. Please do let us know if you have any problems.
We loved seeing you all in your wonderful mufti today. Have a fantabulously spooky half term everyone. Keep reading and maybe write down a few sentences about your week.
Here are some websites that might be of use to you for English, Maths and some other subjects too! Most are free, but there are some that will ask you to subscribe.
We took part in an international endeavour to inspire children to use code. They all had an amazing afternoon coding and debugging their codes. Lots of fun and laughter too.
Spooky Static Science
Today we investigated static electricity and had a go at making some using balloons! Once we'd built up enough static, we managed to make our spooky ghosts dance! Why not have a go at home over the half term and see if you can make a ghost dance?

Oak Class
Oak class had some fun creating the alphabet in the classroom. It was too cramp so we took it outside into the sunshine.
In topic this week we have been looking at the seven continents of the world. We learnt the song (which you can too by following the link above!). We then plotted the continents onto a map in our books. Then using this information we plotted the continents onto a balloon making our own globes.
