| In Autumn 2019, the Friends Associations at the Junior and Infant school combined to create one new parent-teacher association for the Federation. The reasons for doing were to: 1. To reinforce the close partnership between the schools as members of the same Federation 2. To share increasingly limited resource in terms of man-hours and available volunteers 3. To avoid duplication of workload e.g.: two lots of raffle tickets being printed etc. |
When your child joins either school, parents automatically become a member of the parent association. Both schools depend on funding provided by the Friends, which in turn relies upon support from parent volunteers. Funds raised enable the school to purchase educational equipment, fund school trips and fund various ad hoc projects which benefit all children at the school.
