Well what a wonderful way to end the week. The children were so proud of their crown creations and we enjoyed seeing them all in the parade at the end of the day.
In English this week we have been looking at instructional writing. The children thought about what they had to do to plant their turnip seeds. We made a list of verbs to help us and then wrote out the instructions.
In Maths this week we were adding three single digit numbers together using our known number facts. We looked for number bonds, doubles and near doubles to help us.
In Topic this week we looked at the different layers in a rainforest and which creatures we might find in them.
