All Kinds of Families
We begin our first full week with a look at our families and talking about who is in our family, the different types of families and naming the different people in our families or extended family. Our book this week is All Kinds of Families by Sophy Henn.
Literacy: We will read the book above and discuss our families and introduce vocabulary centered around families.
Phonics: This week we introduce the classes to Little Wandle. You can take a look at the parent page on their website to see how to say/form the sounds. We will look at s a t p.
Maths: We will have a go at number rhymes and learning to count through songs.
