Lesson Four

Today we are going to carry on with multiplication and division.  I have got some word problems for you to solve.  Remember to read each question twice and to circle the information that you need before you start.  Draw yourself some circles to help answer a question.

Here is an example for you.

Six children have 5 biscuits each. How many biscuits are there altogether?

Step one read the question twice. Step two circle the important information. Step three draw out your problem and write the calculation.

Click on the picture to enlarge it. Choose your challenge from the stars. There is a printable copy if you want to print them off.

Now have a go at writing your own questions.

Don't forget to send them in so we can upload them for someone else to answer!
