This week we read the lovely book by David Melling - The Kiss that Missed. This a delightful book and an apt ending to our Castles topic before our wonderful Wow Day next week. We also have our long awaited assembly this week on Friday 14th July at 9:15am. Please drop off your little ones and make your way around to the main reception where Mrs Ina will let you into the hall.
Phonics - We will review everything we have learned over the year.
Literacy - We read the above book and create story maps and wonder where that little kiss went.
Maths: We carry on looking at subtraction and addition to consolidate our learning
Topic: We look at medieval banquets and some of the strange things that were eaten.
Secret reader
This week we had Harriet's mum to read to Apple Class. The book was Oi Frog by Kes Gray and Jim Field. It was a very funny book and Evie noticed that it had rhyming words. Joey asked if it was Harriet's favourite book and this was a yes!
