This week December has finally arrived, the Christmas Fayre has taken place, the school looks festive and we are in full flow of learning our Christmas performance songs! So having learned the story of the Nativity and some Christmas traditions we carry out in the UK, we are going to look at how Christmas is celebrated around the world.
Phonics: plurals and words with - s at the end, -s that sounds like a -z and reviewing all the sounds we have learned as well s practising blending.
Literacy: Looking at Christmas around the world and how Christians celebrate it in different countries. Are their traditions the same as ours?
Maths: We will be learning how to work out 1 more and 1 less than a given number. We will do this practically.
Topic: In Topic lesson we will be practising the songs for our performance.
