As we move back on to our topic of bears, we will be reading more books and exploring more information about these wonderful creatures. We have class photos on Wednesday this week and we look forward to hearing about International Women's Day on Tuesday.
Phonics: Back to our phonics lessons we are looking at reviewing the er and air phonemes, reading double letter words and longer words. We have also started to write simple sentences so have a go at writing short captions at home.
Literacy: We will be looking at the book We're Going on a Bear Hunt by Michael Rosen. This is such a fantastic book with lots of repetition, onomatopoeia and adjectives as well as having great rhythm and being an all round fun book to read and perform.
Maths: We will be doing some measuring heights, looking at lengths and also delving into time.
Topic: We explore the geography of bears, where many bears can be found and their habitats.
