Today we have been exploring synonyms. Synonyms are words with the same or similar meanings e.g. big and huge.
Todays task is to read through the story you have been looking at in English - 'The Lighthouse Keepers Lunch'. I would like you to write down all of the adjectives you can spot even if you aren't quite sure what they mean. I have spotted 28! Then I would like you to choose 10 and find a synonym for them. Lastly I would like you to write a sentence for each of the synonyms you have come up with.
