We are in Summer 2. Our new topic this half term is CASTLES. We will be exploring medieval life, learning all about types of castles and history as well as learning through play and creating lots of medieval fun.
Phonics: We will look at words ending in -ing/ed/est. The new tricky words are: out and today. We will practise writing a simple sentence.
Literacy: Beginning our Castles topic by taking at closer look at the structure of a castle and labelling the different parts. We will be looking at a range of non-fiction books and the Internet.
Maths: We will be reviewing the numbers to ten and counting beyond 20. A time to practise the number bonds to 5 so we know the answers really quickly.
Topic: We shared our news about our half term and the Jubilee celebrations.
Have a look at some of the things we have been up to this week.
