This week in Topic we are going to remind ourselves where the equator is on the world map.
We are also going to remember where the north and south poles are. Did you remember that the North Pole is the northern most point in the world and the South Pole is the most southern point in the world?
We will remind ourselves of the what the words “weather “and “climate” mean.
We will look at some hot countries as well as looking at some animals that you may find in hot countries.
We will investigate why certain animals are best suited to living in a hot country, is their body adapted for hot weather?
Our mission is to remember the map of the world. Can you colour in the hot countries and then draw an animal which is best suited to living in a hot country. For a spicier challenger can you explain why the animal you have chosen is suited to living in a hot country.
