This week it is all about Old and New! We are looking at the different materials used over the years to make wheels. There is a sorting activity for you to do. Then we would like you to write about each material that has been used.
- What is the purpose (job) of this wheel?
- What are the properties of that material?
- Was it a good choice?
- Why do you think that material was used for this wheel?
Don't forget to explain your reasoning in full sentences. Use your capital letters and full stops. Could you suggest an alternative material perhaps. Get your thinking caps on scientists.
