Today in Phonics we are looking at two new tricky words. These words are 'they' and 'her', and we will be doing some challenges to help us remember them.

Mild Challenge - See how many times you can write down 'they' as many times as you can in 1 minute. Can you have another go and try and write more 'her' instead this time? Maybe you would like to explore saying 'they' and 'her' in as many different voices as you can.

Hot Challenge - Try and read the sentences below that have our new tricky word in.

 

They all went up the tree.

 

They all got wet in the rain.

 

She had toast for her snack.

 

That is her bag.
