Today we are going to be halving shapes. Remember, when a shape is halved both sides have to be the same size, otherwise it is not half. Take a look at the video below showing some shapes and objects being halved.
Print this halving shapes activity out and have a go finding the other half of the shape. Can you find them all?
Print this activity out and have a go trying to colour in one half of these shapes
If you don't have access to a printer do not worry. Draw some shapes on a piece of paper and cut them out. Then have a go at trying to fold these shapes in half together. Once that is done then colour in one half of each shape. An example is shown below.
