This week in Maths we are exploring money! In today's lesson we are going to be taking a look at coins. Before you begin, if you have coins available it would be great if your child touch and handle them.

Remind your child that coins are a form of money that we used to buy things from shops. If you have no coins available then watch the video again, however this time pause it on each coin and describe what it looks like including the colour, size and shape. Mention how on each coin it says in writing what value the coin is.
