Your starter today is to sing one of our times table songs, or challenge yourself to write out the times table of your choice as quickly as you can.
We are going to be looking at repeated addition and how this links to multiplication. We are going to be using our pasta, lego, coins or whatever you have to hand to make a repeated addition practically.
You can see I have found some socks to help me write a repeated addition sentence. 2 + 2 + 2 = 6
Have some fun with numbers and create some repeated number sentences practically and written.
It might be 5 + 5 + 5 using 5p coins. Or a stack of ten lego pieces to make 10 + 10 + 10. Explore and have some fun. Don't forget to send in some pictures for us to see what crazy repeated addition sentences you could make!
