Today, in our live lesson, we are going to be counting and writing in halves and quarters.
I will be showing you how to count in halves and quarters by cutting up slices of bread!
Take a look at the halves and then the quarters number lines below.
We will be using these and the bread to write and place numbers on a line.
Your missions
Mild - To write the amount of pizza as a fraction.
Hot - To count the halves, order them from smallest to largest and place on a number line.
Spicy - To count the halves and quarters and order them from smallest to largest.
Super Spicy - Cut out the halves and quarters, write the fraction and order from smallest to largest. Can you think of any more than could go in between?
