Today we are talking about what a character in a story is. We are going to discuss how authors create characters to make an interesting and exciting story for us to read. We are going to innovate the story of 'The Frog Prince' by changing the character of the Frog in to another animal of your choice.
Cool Challenge - Choose an animal and discuss with your grown up what the animal might look like and how it behaves.
Hot Challenge - Have a go writing some adjectives that describe your character. Think about what colour your animal is, its size, how it might feel to touch, its smell, what it sounds like.
