Home Learning in action!

Year 1 have been busy, story mapping, writing poems, writing the story of Elmer in their own words. They also have been looking at 3D shapes, counting in 5's and 2's. They also have been busy learning about the equator and hot and cold countries and what animals might live there as well as labelling different body parts on animals.

Year 1 are working very hard in their home schooling. The amount of work being sent in is marvellous. A selection will be put on this part of the website. This first piece is a video from Clementine Free explaining to Mrs Cordell how to make a bird feeder ready for the RSPB big bird watch.

Year 1 have been concentrating on all things related to our topic crazy creatures. In English we wrote a fact file about our own crazy creature and in Science we looked at animal classification. In Maths we have been learning our doubles and now starting 3D shapes.

During the first lockdown, we uploaded lots of your work to showcase. Take a look below for some inspiration :)

Thank you Year 2 for the wonderful video. We miss you and cannot wait to meet again!
