Handwriting

Good afternoon children!

Your first mission today is to find somewhere suitable in your home to sit.  Remember it needs to be somewhere comfy, where you can keep your legs tucked in and be able to sit up nice and straight.

Your second mission is to watch the warm-up videos on the link below.  This will get our hands ready to do our very best handwriting!

Our third mission is to practise the joins below.

Have a go at writing it in the air with your finger first.  Then write it on a piece of paper if you have some.  If you do not have any lined paper you could draw lines with a ruler or ask a grown up to help you draw some lines. If you have a paint brush why not practise these joins with paint or just water on a surface that doesn't matter if it gets wet.  Check with an adult first.

Once you have practised the joins and the patterns see if you write the words below in a sentence.  Don't forget to use the joins you've just learnt in your handwriting.

little

apple

kettle

circle

people

Can you think of any other words that have 'le' in them?   See if you can write these in a sentence.

Good luck.
