Today we are going to be writing a character description.
You can choose whether you would like to write about Mr or Mrs Grinling.
We will discuss what we already know about Mr and Mrs Grinling from the story. See below for some ideas.
What do we know about Mrs Grinling already? See below for some suggestions.
We will then use these to write some sentences using expanded noun phrases. For example
Mr Grinling is a busy, hardworking man who enjoys eating a large lunch every day.
Mrs Grinling has dark, brown hair that she fastens in a bun.
We will go through some more examples in our lesson.
Your mission is to write a character description of either Mr or Mrs Grinling.
Your sentences should include
- Capital letters
- Full stops
- Fingers spaces
- Expanded noun phrases
