To start off our lesson today you will have the opportunity to share your new verse of London's Burning. If you would like to share it with the class have it ready to read!
Today we are going to be moving away from songs and looking at poems.
Some poems have rhyming words but not all do.
In our live lesson, we are going to read the poem below and identify the rhyming words.
How do we know when a word rhymes? What spelling patterns can you spot?
Your mission today is to complete the rhyming words sheet below by adding words that rhyme to each column.
For example, if the word was away words that rhyme with away are play, may, way, bay, array
