Hello Year Two. Over the next two days, we are going to be writing a newspaper report about 'The Great Fire of Prestwood'.
You are going to be using the story maps that you made on Monday to help you.
See an example of a story map below.
Today we are going to write the first two paragraphs and we will finish off the rest tomorrow.
We are going to be looking for:
- A Headline
- Emotive language
- Capital letters and full stops
- Clear sentences
Here is a word mat with some language that you may find useful when writing your report.
Below is a template you may like to use to set out your work but you can use a piece of paper if you want to.
