Hello Year Two. Over the next two days we are going to be writing the story of Toby and the Great Fire of London in our own words.
You are going to be using your story maps that you made on Monday to help you.
Today we are going to write up to the part where Toby finds Mr Pepys burying cheese in his garden, we will finish off the rest tomorrow.
We are going to be looking for you to:
- use expanded noun phrases (use your ones from yesterdays lesson)
- write in clear sentences
- Use capital letters and full stops
- Read it through and check it makes sense
We will go through an example together in the live lesson!
