Today, in our live lesson, we are going to be writing adventurous adjectives to describe the Great Fire of London.
Imagine you are a character in the book 'Toby and the Great Fire of London'.
What would you be able to see, hear, smell, taste and touch? Use your five senses.
Mission one is to write a list of words under each sense.
Mission two is to put these words into a sentence that includes an expanded noun phrase. For example
The enormous, red fire crackled in the cloudy, grey sky.
Your challenge is to write three sentences but you can write more if you would like to!
Remember an expanded noun phrase is where we use two adjectives to describe a noun. We put a comma in between the adjectives in our sentences.
