Year 2 JOURNEYS
Discuss your child's journey, including their time at school and how they’ve coped with moving from preschool to school and one class to another.
How will this prepare and help them in their move to Junior school, a new area etc.?
Give them plenty of time to discuss their opinions and feelings with regard to their move.
Discuss the importance of support from friends, family etc.
THIS CAN BE DRAWN AND WRITTEN IN ANY WAY AT ALL!
Help your child to draw and write out their journey through school and show what they 'think' the next part of school will look like. Bear in mind that many already have pals and relatives in the Junior School and they will have each other, so they will all be 'in the same boat' with lots to look forward to.
