School Council

So a new year has started and so has the School Council.

The children in each year group democratically voted for their two new councillors. The new councillors were presented with their badges and had their photo taken.

Their first role was to go to church on Remembrance Sunday and lay the wreaths the school had made. They were all amazing, they did a very sombre job with respect. The entire School was very proud of them. Well done.

Meeting Minutes 24.3.23

The children came to the Holy Trinity Church service for Remembrance Sunday. It was a sombre yet lovely service and the children were asked to lay the wreaths on the war memorial. The children should be extremely proud of themselves, as on behalf of the school they carried out their job with a huge amount of dignity and respect.

Well done to you all.

Minutes of Meeting 21.10.22

Welcome to the new School Council.

The children have been presented with their badges and their photo taken for the display board. The first meeting has been held.

The councillors met to feedback the results of the voting in their classes. Next steps have been agreed. We are meeting next week to discuss promotion.

The School Council met to discuss fundraising ideas. A great discussion was had and now the councillors are going back to their classes to discuss. Watch this space for what happens next.

The school council met 14/12/20 to discuss the new playground and lunchtime game ideas. Children have missed being able to play with the whole school during these periods and so the school council came up with some games for the classes to play together. The children learnt the new games and then took their packs back to their classrooms to teach their class the new games. We will meet again next term.
