Reading Ambassadors
We love to read here at Prestwood Infant School!
After a lot of hard work from our reading ambassadors, we now have a fully operational reading shed! This means that children can choose a book and read and playtimes and lunchtime. Here are some pictures of the children enjoying this:

Our Latest Project
Our incredible Reading Ambassadors have embarked on an incredible journey. They are in the process of designing, planning and setting up our very own whole school outdoor reading area! The children are currently shopping for the items we need to set this up. They have decided to use the shed at the end of the school field as a base and are aiming to create a reading forest! Keep your eyes peeled!
At Prestwood Infant School we are very passionate about reading. We have a group of children who are our "Reading Ambassadors". They help to do the following:
- Organise the school library
- Read with other children
- Promote a love of reading
- Take books out at play times and lunchtime for children to explore
- Read and review books
- Make book recommendations
