This week in Maths we have been looking at repeated addition and multiplication. Repeated addition involves adding a number together repeatedly. We have then turned our repeated addition into a multiplication.
For example: 5+5+5+5+5+5 = 25 6 x 5 = 25
In English this week we have been innovating text based on our fire fighter story map. We have also been identifying key words in our text and using dictionaries to find the meanings.
We had a very exciting visit from the High Wycombe Fire Station this week. The children were thrilled to be able to look at all of the equipment on the engine, ask the fire fighters lots questions and they also got a chance to climb inside the fire engine before we were given a demonstration of the flashing lights and noisy siren.
