Take a look at some useful videos and websites below that help explain odd and even numbers.
Remember that any number that ends in a 0 2 4 6 8 is even, and any number that ends in a 1 3 5 7 9 is odd.
So for example:
13 is odd because there will always be one friend left over if you were pair them in two's. A quicker way of seeing if 13 is odd or even is to look to see what number it ends in. In this case it is the number 3 which is odd so therefore 13 is also odd.
