Even and Odd Numbers

Wow! Learn about even and odd numbers in this video that you can use in 1st and 2nd grade math lessons. Let's have an awesome time learning even and odd toge...

Remember that any number that ends in a 0 2 4 6 8 is even, and any number that ends in a 1 3 5 7 9 is odd.

So for example:

13 is odd because there will always be one friend left over if you were pair them in two's. A quicker way of seeing if 13 is odd or even is to look to see what number it ends in. In this case it is the number 3 which is odd so therefore 13 is also odd.

14 is even because if you were to pair them in twos there will be no one left out without a friend. A quicker way of seeing whether 14 is odd or even is to look to see what the number ends in. In this case it is the number 4 which is even therefore 14 is also even.
