English

Today, in our live lesson, we are going to be writing a list using commas in between each item.

There were so many things in the lunch basket that we could write them as a list in a sentence instead of a sentence for each item like we did yesterday.

Today we are not going to worry about the adjectives we will just focus on how the commas work in lists.

Look at the PowerPoint below for more information on how commas work.

For example we could write:

Mrs Grinling put five apples, six sausages, eight packets of crisps and nine chocolate bars in Mr Grinling’s lunchbox.

We will go through other examples in our lesson.

Your mission

To bullet point a list of food items to go in the basket.  Then write them out as a list using commas in a sentence.

Have fun!
